I got a new JOB!!

So, I have been working at Geek Squad for the past few months now. It's a descent job, but lately I haven't been getting very many hours due to the poor economy. So, needless to say....we have been under a bit of stress.

As we were discussing what we were going to do...since the wedding is VERY close, my phone started to ring. It was a gentleman in our ward who has been trying to set me up with a job since October, telling me that I just got hired! We are SO excited!

My new job is working at the Staples Center/Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles as a Broadcaster/technical engineer. My job will be making sure that all of the video/audio is working around the entire complex for sports events, shows, and award ceremonies. We were so excited that I just had to write a blog about it. Thank you Brother Nowlan!

Wedding Day is coming

We have just two weeks until our wedding, and we still have quite a lot left to do. The exciting part is that the venue we are having it at is doing all the ecorations and things for us which will make it a little easier since we are traveling to Utah. We are both so very excited that we will be husband and wife shortly. And of course we are excited about the honeymoon too. It's going to be freakin' sweet! lol.

Christmas Time!

Christmas morning was awesome! It was my first year playing the big-red jolly dude, and I had such a great time getting everything ready the night before christmas with Britt and everyone. We all woke up tired, but very much in a great mood. Alex got lots of presents and was thrilled to death at the idea of Santa Clause. After the present opening, Brittany, Alex, and I traveled to Britt's grandparents house for celebration, then on to her step-mom's, then back to mom and dad's for the most fabulous dinner ever! lol. We hope everyone's Christmas was just as awesome and/or better. Happy New Year!
